A tradition going back to 1733

The Piacenza tradition of wool crafting goes back to 1600, but it was more than a century later, in 1733, that Pietro Francesco Piacenza created the first woolen mill in Pollone, a small town nestling at the foot of the Italian Alps, near Biella.
Since then, the Piacenza family has always managed the company, and is now at its 11th generation in the textile field.

Piacenza today

Piacenza is still a textile mill and produces some of the most exclusive fabrics in the world.
Raw materials are purchased directly from the countries of origin to obtain the sophisticated blends that have always given the company its fame of extraordinary fabric producer.
Brioni, Canali, Corneliani, Escada, Fusco, Genny, Hugo Boss as well as many other fashion houses, have chosen the Piacenza fabrics to manufacture their jackets, coats, overcoats and suits that are appreciated all over the world.
